Our Red Velvet Cake Bakery Emulsion will enhance any of your Red Velvet
recipes with the unmistakable, rich, classic red velvet cake taste and
luscious red color you are looking for! Professional bakers prefer
emulsions over extracts for their flavors because emulsions are more
robust, and the flavor won't bake out and disappear when heated. Can be
used on cookies, candies, fudge, pastries, cakes, sweet breads, glazes,
cream centers, frostings, yogurt, fillings, fondants and on and
on!
Directions: For 8 and 9 inch cakes, or recipes for 12 cupcakes, mix 1 level tablespoon of our Red Velvet Bakery Emulsion to your already prepared cake batter, and blend well - you will not require any additional food colorings! Use this professional strength flavoring instead of an extract in any recipe. For baking, 1 teaspoon of extract = 1 teaspoon of bakery emulsion. Use slightly less in recipes that will not be cooked or baked, such as cream centers or frostings, or simply add to taste!

Our Red Velvet Flavor Fountain and Color is specially designed for use with sherbets, sorbets, hard ice cream, soft-serve ice cream, yogurt, shakes, smoothies and much more. This Flavor Fountain and Color is unsweetened, colored, appropriate for low-fat and / or low-sugar recipes and gluten-free. Store at room temperature.
Ice Cream or Yogurt Bases - 1 Tbsp for 1 quart (32 oz); 1-2 oz for 1 Gallon
Shakes and Smoothies - 1-2 tsp for 16 oz
The above suggested mixing amounts are based upon a 6-8 percent milkfat mix; as the fat content increases, more flavor will be required. This is just a suggested minimum starting amount - adjust as desired.
