Japan produces some of the best green teas in the world. The primary producing area in Japan is the Shizuoka prefecture which is west south west of Tokyo. The famous bullet train zooms through the tea growing area about 25 minutes after leaving Shinjuku station on its way to Osaka. The efficiency of Japan's tea production is amongst the highest in the world reaching yields of 1500 pounds per acre. Despite the fact that mechanical plucking is used, the tea made is generally considered the best green tea in the world. Interestingly, due to it's northern latitude all the tea fields have large fans covering the whole acreage. The fans are turned on during cold snaps to circulate the air and protect the tea bush from freezing.

Japan only exports about 1-2 percent of its total production and recently has become a leading importer of the finest teas in the world. Over half of the yearly production of Japanese tea comes from Shizuoka. The production of green tea entails the steaming of the green leaf and hand or machine rubbing. The teas are then pan fried or basket fired which gives them a distinctive appearance and glossy look and feel. These methods give a taste that is light in colour but rich and full in the cup.

Sencha is commonly used in Japanese tea ceremonies marking events of personal importance. In this type of ceremony it is the ritual that is of paramount importance as the individual is being acknowledged. For ceremonies marking "life altering events," matcha is used. Matcha is a sencha that has been turned into a powder through a painstaking but important ritual.

Contemporary medical studies demonstrate that green tea (and black and oolong teas to a lesser amount) can cut down the risk of many persistent health disorders. The healthy chemicals in tea are often known as polyphenols, and have been studied for their medical uses. Polyphenols provide tea with its attribute trait of stypsis. The primary polyphenols found in teas are often known as catechins, which make up 30-40% of the dehydrated weight of tea. Polyphenols are stated to increase our healthy detoxing, cut back low blood pressure and subdue bad cells.

Green tea is the initial variety of tea developed, with a lot of it developed in the Republic of China and the Japanese Islands. The first green tea was sold abroad starting in 1611, once the United East Indian Company structured a factory on Hirado Island in the Japanese Islands. Only 4% of green tea developed in the Japanese Islands are sold abroad.

In the production of green tea, preservation of a faultless green leaf is of utmost magnitude. Green teas are usually not oxidised as black teas are, and even in part oxidised as the oolongs are. Instead, the tea leaves are plucked, steamed or pan-fried (which gets rid of the oxidation enzymes), coiled and dried. The result nets a healthy chemical layout in green tea that seems to be equivalent to the clean foliage. Green tea is famous for its high content of nutrients. Green tea consists of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in amounts similar to that of an orange. It also consists of various B Vitamins that are water soluble and dispersed right away into a cup of tea. 5 cups of green tea each day provides you with 5-10% of the daily requirement of niacin, lactoflavin, folic acid, and pantothenic acid. 5 cups of green tea also give roughly 25% of the potassium daily requirement, 5% of the daily requirement of magnesium, and 45% of the daily requirement of manganese (Mn). Green tea also consists of fluoride, which battles dental caries.

It has been said that 80% of tea developed in the Japanese Islands is Sencha Green tea. It truly is a quality product, taken only from the first and second processes. The first flush, often known as "Ichiban Cha", is particularly refined and grassy. This tea is steamed and fired and then coiled. The last detaching of the teas is made into Bancha, known respectfully in the Japanese Islands as "the working man's tea." This tea has no parallel to the brilliant, easy green Sencha teas.

A medical magazine in England stated that green tea makes the liver organ functionality stronger and helps reduce the occurrence of heart health issues. Additional research strongly implies that the antioxidants in Japanese sencha might also be used to help support digestion, hinder tooth decay, cut back blood ldl cholesterol, cut back high blood sugar, and have a disinfectant activity towards food-borne sicknesses. Studies show that Japanese sencha green tea consists of theanine, polyphenols, and antioxidants, in addition, to all kinds of nutrients.

Up to date clinical reviews show that green tea may scale back the danger of many acute health problems. The organic chemicals in tea are often called polyphenols, and have been analyzed for their health advantages. Polyphenols give tea its astringence. The primary polyphenols found in teas are often called tannic acid, which make up 30-40% of the waterless weight of tea. Polyphenols are reported to increase our ability to detoxify, balance low and high blood pressure and improve immunity. Green tea is the earliest form of tea ever harvested, with much of it harvested in mainland China and Japan. The first green tea was sent abroad starting in 1611, by the Dutch East India Company (Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie), who structured a factory on Hirado Island in Japan. These days, only 4% of green tea harvested in Japan is sent abroad.

When producing green tea, maintenance of the complete green leaf is very important. Green teas aren't combined with oxygen as black teas are, or even in part combined with oxygen like oolongs. In contrast, the tea foliage is pulled out, steamed or pan-fried (which gets rid of the oxidation enzymes), coiled and dried. The outcome gives an organic chemical formation in green tea that really is a clone of the leaf when it first comes off the branch.

Green tea is well-known for its prime content of vitamins and minerals. Green tea contains ascorbic acid, or vitamin C, in amounts comparable to that of an orange. It also contains several B vitamins which are water soluble and released right away into a teacup. Five cups a day of green tea provide you with 5-10% of the daily need of niacin, vitamin B2, folacin, and pantothenic acid. Five cups of green tea additionally provide nearly 25% of the potassium (K) daily need, 5% of the daily need of magnesium, and 45% of the daily need of manganese (atomic number 25). Green tea even contains a fluorine-containing element, which supports dental caries.

Approximately 80% of all tea harvested in Japan is Sencha Green tea. It is constituted of the first and second processes. The first flush, often called Ichiban Cha, is very refined and grassy. This tea is steamed and fired after which it is coiled. The ultimate removing of the teas is made into Bancha, regarded in Japan as The Workingman's Tea. This tea has no parallel to the bright, light green Sencha teas.

A British clinical journal reported that green tea reinforces liver functionality and helps reduce the occurrence of cardiovascular ailment. Similar reports strongly endorse that the oxidation inhibitors in Japanese sencha may additionally battle grippe, avoid cavities, scale back the danger of most immunity deficiencies, cut blood ldl cholesterol, cut prime blood glucose, and feature a disinfectant action towards foodborne ailments. Studies show that Japanese sencha green tea contains theanine, polyphenols, and oxidation inhibitors, moreover all kinds of vitamins and minerals.

• Used for digestion, bowel and digestive tract health, tooth and gum health, blood pressure and much more.
The young leaves and leaf buds of the green tea plant, cool and mildly bitter in flavor, are harvested for traditional health use. With stimulant, diuretic, and astringent properties, green tea supports the liver and is often taken as an immunity booster or a simple supporter for diarrhea and other stomach complaints. It can also be used for its stimulative properties or simply as a pleasant herbal beverage taken on a daily basis.

Because of the tannins in green tea, it can be useful for diarrhea. The caffeine content accounts for its stimulant properties. One of the distinguishing uses of tea in contrast to coffee is the traditional one as a stimulant of thought and conversation. Coffee, on the other hand is a more powerful stimulant providing more general alertness and excitement. Perhaps this is only tradition, or perhaps someday we will find a biochemical explanation for this phenomenon. Catechins, other tannins found in green tea, have been shown to help support healthy immunity levels. This is perhaps one of the most interesting recent discoveries about green tea that will certainly encourage more widespread use and appreciation of this beverage.

Green tea is the earliest kind of tea ever brought forth, with so much of it brought forth in Cathay and The Japanese Islands. The first green tea was shipped overseas in 1611, when the United East Indian Company installed a factory on Hirado Island in The Japanese Islands.

Within the production of green tea, protection of the unbroken green foliage is of utmost significance. Green teas don't seem to be oxidised as black teas are, or partly oxidised as oolongs, but instead the tea leaves are pulled off, steamed or fried in a pan (that gets rid of the oxidisation enzymes), rolled and then dried. The outcome bears a natural chemical form in green tea that is a clone of the fresh foliage.

Green tea is known for its excessive content of nutrients. Green tea includes ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in amounts corresponding to a lemon, which is a lot. It also includes a few B vitamins that are soluble in water and released into a bowl of tea speedily. Five cups of green tea a day offers you 5-10% of the daily requirement of niacin, hepatoflavin, folic acid, and pantothenic acid. Similarly, five cups of green tea furnish nearly 25% of the potassium essential to life, 5% of the daily requirement of magnesium (atomic number 12), and 45% of the daily requirement of manganese (Mn). Green tea also includes fluoride, which supports dental caries.

Recent medical reviews have proven that green tea (black and oolong teas to a lower extent) may shrink the risk of many continual illnesses. The natural chemicals in tea referred to as polyphenols, were researched for their well being benefits. Polyphenols also give tea its characteristic astringency. The first polyphenols found in teas are referred to as catechols, that make up 30-40% of the dried-up weight of tea. Polyphenols are stated to help support healthy blood pressure levels, and elevate our natural detoxification protection.

Approximately 80% of tea brought forth in the Japanese Islands is Sencha Green tea. It is manufactured from the first and second groups only. The first flush, or "Ichiban Cha", is very tender and grassy. This tea is steamed and fired as it is rolled. The last pulling out of the teas is made into Bancha, commonly used in The Japanese Islands known as "the workingman's tea." This tea has little similarity to the intense, faded green Sencha teas. Only 4% of green tea brought forth in the Japanese Islands is shipped overseas.

An English medical journal stated that green tea is used to shrink the prevalence of cardiovascular infirmity and enhance liver functionaility. Extra reviews strongly counsel that the oxidation inhibitors in Japanese sencha may shrink the risk of melanoma, lower blood cholesterol, combat grippe, avoid cavities, lower excessive blood glucose, and feature a disinfectant action towards foodborne illnesses. Studies convey that Japanese sencha green tea includes polyphenols, oxidation inhibitors, theanine, in addition, to a wide selection of nutrients.

In the production of green tea, maintenance of the whole leaf is of utmost magnitude. Green teas usually are not oxidized as black teas are, or in part oxidized as oolongs, but rather the tea's leafage is removed, steamed or pan fried (which removes the oxidation enzymes), rolled and then dried. The outcome nets a natural chemical formation in green tea which is a twin of the recent leaf.

Green tea is the earliest kind of tea ever made, with much of it made in Communist China and Japan. The first green tea was shipped abroad in 1611, when the Dutch East India Company created a factory on Hirado Island in Japan.

Green tea is recognized for its high content of nutrients. Green tea incorporates vitamin C (ascorbic acid) in quantities resembling a lemon. The same 5 cups of green tea grant about 25% of the potassium (atomic number 19) daily specification, 5% of the daily requirement of magnesium (atomic number 12), and 45% of the daily requirement of manganese. Green tea also incorporates fluoride, which combats dental caries.

Recent clinical reviews have proven that green tea (black and oolong teas to a lower extent) may well lower the chance of many extreme health troubles. The natural chemical compounds in tea called polyphenols, were observed for their wellbeing and fitness effects. Polyphenols also provide tea with its feature astringency. The principle polyphenols present in teas are called tannic acid, which make up 30-40% of the waterless weight of tea. Polyphenols are said to scale down low blood pressure, improve immunity levels, and build up our natural detoxification security.

This tea has little resemblance to the brilliant, gentle green Sencha teas. Only 4% of green tea made in Japan is shipped abroad.

A British clinical magazine said that green tea is observed to lower the occurrence of coronary heart infirmity and amplify the role of the liver. Further reviews strongly propose that the antioxidants in Japanese sencha may improve immunity, scale down blood cholesterol, combat coughs, colds, avoid cavities, scale down high blood sugar, and have a disinfectant action towards foodborne illnesses. Studies teach that Japanese sencha green tea incorporates polyphenols, antioxidants, theanine, plus all kinds of nutrients.

The healthy chemical compounds in tea are known as polyphenols, and feature extensive health rewards. Polyphenols make tea exhibit the trait of stypsis. The main polyphenols found in teas are also known as catechins, that make up 30-40% of the bone dry weight of tea. Polyphenols are noted to increase healthy detoxification, cut back low and high blood pressure.

Reports strongly advocate that the oxidation inhibitors in Japanese sencha fight coughs, colds, hinder cavities, shrink decrease blood ldl cholesterol, decrease high blood sugar, and feature a disinfectant capability opposed to food-borne illnesses. Studies show that Japanese sencha green tea carries theanine, polyphenols, and oxidation inhibitors, apart from all kinds of nutrients.

Additional studies strongly suggest that the anti-oxidants in Japanese sencha may well fight coughs, colds, fight tooth decay, help support healthy immunity levels, cut down blood cholesterol, cut down high sugar in the blood, and feature a disinfectant action in opposition to foodborne illnesses. Studies show that Japanese sencha green tea consists of theanine, polyphenols, and anti-oxidants, along with a wide variety of nutrients.

Contemporary medical experience demonstrates that green tea (and black and oolong teas to a lower extent) may perhaps reduce the risk of many severe health concerns. The traditional chemical compounds in tea are known as polyphenols, and have been considered for their health benefits. Polyphenols provide tea with its characteristic trait of astringence. The first polyphenols found in teas are known as catechins, which make up 30-40% of the moistureless weight of tea. Polyphenols are said to increase our traditional detoxification, reduce low blood pressure.

Green tea is the earliest type of tea ever made, with much of it made in Nationalist China and Japan. The first green tea used to be shipped abroad in 1611, after the United East Indian Company established a factory on Hirado Island in Japan. Only 4% of green tea made in Japan is actually shipped abroad these days.

In the production of green tea, upkeep of the perfect green leaf is of the utmost value. Green teas aren't oxidized as black teas are, or even oxidized in part as oolongs are. Rather, the tea leafage are removed, steamed or pan-fried (which removes the oxidisation enzymes), rolled and dried. The end result brings in a traditional chemical formation in green tea which is a clone of the refreshing foliage taken right off of the branch.

Green tea is celebrated for its prime content of vitamins and minerals. Green tea incorporates ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in amounts that are equivalent to an orange. It also incorporates quite a few B Vitamins which are soluble in water and can seep quickly right into a bowl of tea. Five cups of green tea per day provides you with 5-10% of the daily requirement of nicotinic acid, ovoflavin, vitamin M, and pantothenic acid. Five cups of green tea also provide you with nearly 25% of the potassium (K) daily requirement, 5% of the daily requirement of magnesium (atomic number 12), and 45% of the daily requirement of manganese (atomic number 25). Green tea also has a fluorine-containing radical, which opposes cavities.

Approximately 80% of tea made in Japan is of the Sencha Green tea variety. This is made from the first and second sets only, which are the highest quality. The first flush, or "Ichiban Cha", is particularly gentle and grassy. This tea is steamed and fired and then rolled. The last plucking of the teas is made into Bancha, which is discreetly identified in Japan as "the tea good enough for the working man." This "working man's tea" has little likeness to the bright, mild green Sencha teas.

A British medical magazine said that green tea enhances liver functionality and helps reduce the occurrence of coronary heart ailment. Additional studies strongly suggest that the anti-oxidants in Japanese sencha may fight grippe, hinder tooth decay, reduce the risks associated with immunity problems, reduce blood cholesterol, reduce blood sugar levels, and may help support healthy disinfectant action opposed to food-transmitted ailments. Studies show that Japanese sencha green tea incorporates theanine, polyphenols, and anti-oxidants, besides a large choice of vitamins and minerals.

An English scientific journal suggested that green tea advances liver functionality and helps reduce the occurrence of heart disorder. In addition, science reports strongly advocate that the antioxidants in Japanese sencha fight coughs, colds and cavities, cut blood ldl cholesterol and excessive blood sugar, and feature a disinfectant capability against food-borne illnesses that is second to none. Studies also demonstrate that Japanese sencha green tea possesses theanine, polyphenols, and antioxidants, and a wide range of other beneficial nutrients.

Green tea is renowned for its high content of beneficial nutrients. Green tea carries Vitamin C in amounts which are akin to that of an orange. Five cups of green tea taken each day offers you 5-10% of the daily requirement of riboflavin, niacin, pteroylglutamic acid, and pantothenic acid. Five cups of green tea also supply nearly 25% of the potassium daily requirement, 5% of the daily requirement of magnesium, and 45% of the daily requirement of manganese (Mn). Green tea also carries fluoride, which will help you fight cavities.

Ginkgo is well-known for its use in helping to help support healthy cognitive functions of the elderly. Recent research has also shown that ginkgo protects brain cells and enhances their survival. Korean ginseng, long used in Asia to promote general health and longevity, has been associated with lower incidence of lung problems, particularly in smokers. Garlic has demonstrated modest, but significant, reductions in systolic and diastolic blood pressures, and an ability to maintain cholesterol in a healthy range.

We have based this formula on research limited to laboratory experiments, current medical practice, and some anecdotal evidence. However, extensive human clinical trials are required to help support the use of this formula.

The positive benefits of graviola, a fruit from the amazon rainforest, are confined to in vitro and animal studies; while it remains uncertain whether or not graviola is effective in humans, as clinical trial are necessary, the laboratory results, thus far, are intriguing and graviola is definitely worthy of further study.

Astragalus may act as an immune enhancer.

This blend is specially formulated to address high blood pressure and is based on recent scientific findings. In a very recent study published in March of 2006, grape seed extract was shown to help support hypertension. Grape seed extract out-performed the placebo in a study out of the University of California at Davis. Studies also confirm that green tea drinkers are at a 46% lower risk of developing hypertension as opposed to those who don't drink green tea at all. Green tea may also be very beneficial for those recovering from heart attacks as well.

Hawthorn berry is an herb that dilates arteries and improves coronary blood flow reducing blood pressure. Some of the flavonoids in hawthorn help fight the narrowing of blood vessels. It also is a mild diuretic that reduces blood volume. Most patients who take hawthorn have a drop in blood pressure of 10 to 15 points over 8 weeks.

Boswellin, the Indian herb also known as frankincense, is the first herbal supportive to have documented clinical evidence that it can be useful for joint pain. Boswellin inhibits pro-inflammatory mediators in the body, such as leukotrienes, and helps support the increase blood supply to joints, supporting stiffness and pain. It has been tried for centuries in Ayurveda to maintain joint health.

Cat's claw has demonstrated pain-supporting properties in joint pain sufferers who saw significant support in the number of painful joints and morning stiffness while taking regular daily doses of the herb.

According to a study from CWRU's School of Medicine, green tea can help avoid rheumatoid arthritis; polyphenols in green tea appeared to have a protective effect in mice who experienced a lower incidence of joint pain, and those who did develop the problem had a much milder form of it.

White willow bark was the herbal precursor to salycilic acid, or modern day aspirin; its similar chemical makeup makes it an effective pain supporter without any of the side effects.

  ease up my pain

i have always been on a strong nsaid med, one or another for a long time for my rheumatoid arthritis.one of them made my blood pressure elevated ,have to take bp pills since 2001.i am not taking a lot of it nsaid just twice a day but my doctor try to stop it completely w/c is impossible to me. so i cut it down to once a day in am so i can work then covers the rest of the day with RA support from zooscape . it seems to help getting me by for at least 2 months now. i know i can try asa but that would tear up my stomach w/n the second dose. this RA support are gentle enough, so far not a problem. my goal is to try to stop the nsaid altogether as i get older it will hurt my kidneys. thank you zooscape. i still have pain sometimses but i still think it is better than the nsaids.

• Traditionally used to help support digestion, bowel and digestive tract health, tooth and gum health, blood pressure and much more.
Green Tea is mainly a beverage but is used in health to help support mild acute diarrhoea and functional asthenia. Today, tea leaf products are applied externally as supportive product in weight loss programs and for symptomatic support of skin disorders. Green tea is taken as antioxidant and diuretic, and is thought to be antimutagertic and anticarcinogenic.

Tea Plant
Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Kuntze (= Thea sinensis L.).

Family: Theaceae.

Other Names: Green tea; théier (French); Teestrauch (German); tè (Italian); té (Spanish).

Description: A large shrub (clipped to 1.5 m to facilitate harvesting) with glossy leaves and attractive white flowers. The ornamental plant C. japonica is a close relative.

Origin: Indigenous to southern and eastern Asia; grown in China since ancient times; commercial cultivation spread to India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia and Africa.

Parts Used: Young leaves (Theaefolium), usually with the unopened apical bud (pekoe).Three main tea types can be distinguished: black tea (rolled, fermented; dried), green tea (heated and rapidly-dried; rolled) and oolong tea (semi-fermented). Fermentation (i.e. enzymatic oxidation) changes the colour from yellowish green (green tea) to reddish brown (black tea) and also the chemical composition (formation of flavour constituents and oxidation of the polyphenols).

Therapeutic Category: Stimulant, antioxidant, possible antimutagen.

Active Ingredients: Tea contains 2-4% caffeine; theobromine and theophylline are below 0.05%. Up to 30% phenolics are composed of a complex mixture of phenolic acids, gallotannins, flavonol glycosides and especially numerous flavan-type phenolics (including epigallocatechin gallate, epicatechin gallate and proanthocyanidins). Also present are triterpene saponins, carotenoids and non-protein amino acids (theanine, 2-amino-6-ethylamidoadipinic acid).

Health Effects: Tannins interact with proteins and are astringent; they are responsible for the anti-diarrhoeal activity of tea. Antioxidant, antimutagenic and diuretic effects are also ascribed to the tannins and other phenolic compounds. It is claimed that tea inhibits the absorption of cholesterol. The stimulating effect is due to caffeine - it affects adenosine receptors and blocks phosphodiesterase.

Status: Traditional health; Pharm.

Preparation and Dosage: Infusions are taken as tea, or extracts are included in commercial preparations and mixtures.

Up to date studies prove that green tea (and black and oolong teas to a smaller extent) could possibly curb the danger of many persistent health troubles. The pure chemicals in tea are generally known as polyphenols, and are known for their health advantages. Polyphenols make tea astringent. The polyphenols found in teas are generally known as catechins, which make up 30-40% of the moistureless weight of tea. Polyphenols detoxify our bodies, balance low and high blood pressure and improve immunity. Green tea is the earliest tea ever developed, with most of it developed in Communist China and Japan. The first green tea sold abroad was in 1611, when the Dutch East India Company (Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie) established a manufacturing unit on Hirado Island in Japan. Only 4% of green tea developed in Japan is really sold abroad these days. When manufacturing green tea, preservation of the intact green leaf is of utmost importance. Green teas should not oxidised as black teas are, or even partially oxidised as oolongs are. Instead, green tea leaves are pulled out, cooked in steam or pan-fried (which gets rid of the oxidation enzymes), furled and dried. The outcome gives us a pure chemical composition in green tea that truly is comparable to the original fresh leaf.

Green tea is known for its excessive content material of vitamins and minerals. Green tea includes ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in amounts comparable to an orange. It additionally includes quite a few B vitamins which are water soluble and released easily right into a steaming hot bowl of tea. Five cups of green tea a day will give you 5-10% of the daily requirement of nicotinic acid, hepatoflavin, folic acid, and pantothenic acid. The same five cups of green tea will provide youwith roughly 25% of the potassium (atomic number 19) daily requirement, 5% of the daily requirement of magnesium (atomic number 12), and 45% of the daily requirement of manganese. Green tea also fights tooth decay due to the presence of flouride.

Almost 80% of tea developed in Japan is Sencha Green tea. It is peferably crafted from the first and second batches only. The first flush, generally known as "Ichiban Cha", is the highest grade: it is mainly smooth and grassy. This tea is cooked in steam and fired and then furled. The last pulling out of the teas is made into Bancha, the lowest grade, and is recognized in Japan as "the worker's tea." This tea has little resemblance to the bright, green Sencha teas.

A British clinical magazine suggested that green tea strengthens liver performance and helps reduce the prevalence of heart ailments. Further reports powerfully dictate that the antioxidants in Japanese sencha could possibly battle coughs, colds, avert cavities, support immunity levels, reduce blood cholesterol and excessive blood sugar, and feature a disinfectant capability opposed to foodborne sicknesses. Studies show that Japanese sencha green tea includes theanine, important polyphenols, and antioxidants, besides a good selection of vitamins and minerals.

Recent clinical research shows that green tea (and black and oolong teas) may cut back the risk of many severe health complications. The pure chemicals in tea are generally known as polyphenols, and their medical uses are well known. Polyphenols give tea its astringency. The main polyphenols found in teas are generally known as tannic acid, which make up 30-40% of the bone dry weight of tea. Polyphenols increase our detoxification, scale back high blood pressure and improve immunity.

Green tea is the first tea ever created, with most of it created in the People's Republic of China and Japan. The first green tea used to be shipped overseas starting in 1611, the year the Dutch East India Company established a manufacturing facility on Hirado Island in Japan. Only 4% of green tea created in Japan is actually shipped overseas.

Inside the manufacturing of green tea, maintenance of the intact green leaf is of utmost importance. Green teas aren't oxidized as black teas are, or even oxidized in part like oolongs. Green tea leaves are plucked, steamed or fried in a pan (which reduces the oxidation enzymes), furled and dried-up. The outcome o this process delivers up a pure chemical formation in the green tea that truly is the image of the original leaves.

Green tea is famous for its excessive content of nutrients. Green tea includes vitamin c in great amounts, almost as much as an orange! It also includes numerous B vitamins, which are water soluble, so they are launched immediately when steamed in a mug of hot tea. Five cups of green tea every day will provide you with 5-10% of the daily requirement of nicotinic acid, hepatoflavin, folacin, and pantothenic acid. Five cups of green tea also offer approximately 25% of the potassium daily requirement, 5% of the daily requirement of magnesium (Mg), and 45% of the daily requirement of manganese (Mn). Green tea also controls tooth decay due to its flouride.

80% of tea created in Japan is Sencha Green tea. This is made from the first and second flushes of the process. "Ichiban Cha", the first flush, is especially subtle and grassy. This tea is steamed and fired after which it is finally furled. In contrast, the last plucking of green tea is made into Bancha, also klnown as "the workingman's tea." This tea has little in common with the brilliant, mild green Sencha teas.

In Britian, a clinical magazine suggested that green tea advances liver organ performance and helps reduce the prevalence of heart infirmity. Added reports strongly advise that the oxidation inhibitors in Japanese sencha may battle grippe and cavities, cut back the risks associated with immunity problems, scale back blood cholesterol and excessive blood glucose, and feature a disinfectant capability that is active in opposition to foodborne sicknesses. Studies show that Japanese sencha green tea includes polyphenols, theanine and oxidation inhibitors, apart from all kinds of other nutrients.
